Interests

My main interests are observational astrophysics of high redshift extragalactic sources: optical and IR photometry reduction, processing & analysis and galaxy formation and evolution from the epoch of reionization to the present day.

Aside from academic research I am deeply involved into outreach and amateur astronomy, as former activity coordinator of Madrid's biggest amateur astronomy club: ASAAF I have experience both organizing and participating in diverse outreach activities such as public observations, visits to schools, talks to the general public...

Outside astronomy, my two passions are music and photography. I really enjoy playing lute (specially music by Silvius Leopold Weiss). Recently I started diving into alternative analog photography techniques such as cianotype, liquid emulsion or wet plate photography.
